Who you’ll be working with:

  • Report directly to the Operations Manager
  • Partner with maintenance and engineering teams
  • Consult with and educate manufacturing operators


How you’ll contribute to the team:

  • Process Engineers are responsible for providing technical services to the plant, such as process improvement work, daily process support, cost reduction activities, and project management
  • Process Engineers play critical roles in our Lean and Continuous Improvement activities and Kaizen events, where an emphasis is placed on creativity before capital investment
  • Proactively providing engineering and technical assistance to the operation in terms of equipment, maintenance, production processes and systems, and facility maintenance
  • Lead plant Quality and ISO teams in maintaining and improving process and product quality
  • Identify and resolve common cause and special cause issues that impact manufacturing line reliability and performance
  • Investigate manufacturing problems with the line and recommend corrective actions.  Consult with production and maintenance teams, analyze supporting data, recommend corrective actions, and follow-through on their effectiveness
  • Execute capital projects, ensuring cost / schedule / performance goals are met or exceeded.  This may vary from owning portions of a large project to sole ownership of a project
  • Educate manufacturing operators on engineering and technical issues to ensure their knowledge and understanding
  • Coordinating training and start up activities of new equipment and processes


What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Engineering degree, Bachelor's degree required
  • 1+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong change management skills and experience
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills


We’ll be excited if you have:

  • PLC programming experience
  • Capital project management
  • CAD
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Statistical Process Control and Team Facilitation

Process Engineer Salary: $58,000 - $81,000 based on experience
