WORK

 

Armstrong Flooring, Inc. is looking for an exceptional Regional Builder Manager for the Eastern United States.  You will work with clients such as key builders, property management companies, flooring subcontractors, and Armstrong Flooring distributor partners to manage and drive profitable sales and exceed budgeted levels in the Builder and Property Management Market.

 

Who you’ll be working with:

  • Reporting directly to the Vice President of Residential Sales

 

How you’ll contribute to the team: 

  • Sell and position Armstrong Flooring products and programs at the headquarters level of national builder and property management companies
  • Building strong relationships with top builders, property management companies and flooring subcontractors
  • Accomplishing sales budgets and initiatives
  • Effectively managing and tracking pipeline initiatives
  • Developing and implementing national plans and programs necessary to deliver the required sales growth for the market.
  • Managing and maintaining the existing customer base
  • Captaining the continuous learning process to improve distributor knowledge of the national programs
  • Managing all selling and promotional expense budgets for assigned territory
  • Effectively solving complaint resolution as required

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 3+ years previous sales experience with a building products provider to the new home construction market including the nation’s top builders
  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • A strong track record of achievement; Experience as a top performer with outstanding result
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, results-driven attitude, and a high energy level
  • Desire to sell a great brand and great products within an appropriate spectrum of price range
  • Consultative selling, strong communication, influencing, negotiating, analytical, time/project management skills are essential
  • Experience to effectively manage multiple relationships and priorities.
  • Valid US driver's license
