AHF Products has a great career opportunity for a Retail Strategic Account Representative to cover key account relationships in Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.

 

This position is responsible for maximizing Homerwood hardwood sales penetration, obtaining optimum market share and the greatest profit potential with “Key Retail Strategic Accounts and Residential Specifiers”. The Retail Strategic Account Representative will take the lead in selling solutions that ensure the greatest exposure for Homerwood Hardwood Flooring and all related accessories.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Gain access to key decision makers and cultivate effective strategic relationships.
  • Enroll the right “targeted” retailers into the Artisan/Guild Program.
  • Target & present the Homerwood “Custom” story to Residential Specifiers and End-Users
  • Gather and analyze customer information to understand growth opportunities, accurately diagnose each account's business issues and develop customized account plans for each retailer.
  • Establish placement of key engineered product collections like Simplicity.
  • Orchestrate resources in supplying and collaborating on mutually defined retail solutions. Negotiate and implement consultative product and merchandising programs that further penetrate assigned accounts at optimal profit margins.
  • Conduct ongoing business review and planning meetings with each retailer. Provide milestones to internal and external customers in order to facilitate the process of communication and knowledge management.
  • Continually evaluate current and future sales probabilities, market trends, pricing, competition and new opportunities within each product category. Collect and report accurate and timely information as requested.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of AHF Hardwood products especially Homerwood.
  • Prepare business reports and manage expense account within budget.

 

This position requires up to 75% travel.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of successful field sales experience, preferably with key retailers and/or in building products industry.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to effectively manage multiple relationships and priorities.
  • Top performer with outstanding results.
  • Valid US Driver's license.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Building Products Industry &/or Floor Covering Industry experience.
